An inspection is for the moments where a guess is expensive: buying a house with a pool, chasing a fault that keeps coming back, or needing something in writing.
A pool can look perfectly good and still be holding a problem. Surfaces, pipework, the equipment and the water each tell a different part of the story, and the one that costs money is usually the one nobody looked at.
An inspection is a structured look at all of it. We go through the structure, the equipment, the water condition and the visible safety elements, and you get the findings in writing rather than a verbal once-over at the gate. What you do with it is up to you, which is the point of having it written down.
Pre-purchase is the common one. Before you commit to a property, it is worth knowing whether the pool is a pool or a project.

Do I get the findings in writing?
Yes. That is the difference between an inspection and an opinion, and it is what makes it useful to a lawyer, an insurer or the person you are buying from.
Can you inspect a pool before I buy the property?
Yes, that is the most common reason people book one. We assess the pool, the equipment and what we can see of the structure, and the report tells you what you would be taking on.
My pool keeps having the same problem. Is that an inspection?
It can be. A problem-focused inspection is aimed at one recurring issue, a leak, water that will not stay clear, equipment that underperforms, so that any repair is done on a diagnosis rather than a hunch.
Do you check safety and compliance?
We review what is visible, barriers, gates and access, equipment setup, and flag what looks like a risk or a compliance concern. It is a review of what we can see, not a council certification.
Can I get a report for insurance?
Yes. We can put the observed condition, the equipment status and the visible issues into a written report for that purpose.
